A look at how Small States manage their security relations
This talk intends to engage the topic of small states from the perspective of security relations in their (often) dangerous regions. By looking at the way instrumentalised states manage their political affairs, alliances and diplomacy, it is hoped that lessons in state survival be gleaned. This talk will make use of the Gulf States, Georgia and Azerbaijan as cases.
