On October 6, the Saakashvili Presidential Library held a public lecture by  Nino Danelia entitled "Media and Public Space."

The main topic of the lecture was media's role in setting up the public space without imposing damage to the professional standards - fact-based, double-checked, unbiased information. The examples from American and Georgian media were considered.

Nino Danelia is a professor at Ilia State University, specializing in mass communications. She was born in 1972. Nino Danelia graduated   from Louisiana State University Manship School of Mass Communication and was awarded   master's degree in mass communication.  Nino is also a holder of a master's degree in journalism and media management of the Caucasus School of Journalism and Media Management
