On October 13, Saakashvili Presidential Library held Ani Tsitladze's public lecture - "The Future Belongs to Us".

Why do we need a new way of thinking, and why youth activities and voluntary institutions are important for the regional development. What challenges young people encounter and what obstacles they should be able to overcome for the country's success.

The lecture discussed the activities of the Samegrelo Development Centre, in which more than 1,500 young people receive education.

Ani Tsitlidze is a doctoral student in political science at TSU. She holds master's degrees in European studies and Human Resource Management of Baltic International Academy (Riga, Latvia).  She is the head of the Samegrelo Development Centre and member of Zugdidi City Council. Ani Tsitlidze is the author of the book "At the Intersection of Georgia's Geopolitical Interests". Ani was awarded the President's Medal of Honor for “special contribution in the development of Anaklia”.
