On October 4, the Saakashvili Presidential Library held a presentation of the book by Mikheil Saakashvili "Awakening of Force". The book was published first in Ukraine and later the Georgian version was published by the University Publishing House. President Saakashvili spoke about the book in a video address.

 

The book  describes the history of the Saakashvili  family , the circumstances that created a revolutionary situation in 2003, coming to power of Saakashvili's  team.

 

The book also describes  the radical reforms that the government  carried out during ten  years. The President drew attention not only to  the success but  also assessed the  failures and mistakes. The parallels  with the current  situation in Ukraine are drawn in each chapter  based on the author's personal  experiences. The book contains a lot of details that had not been previously known to the media and to a wide audience.

 

 The book will be for sale  in Georgia in the nearest future .

 At the end of the presentation,  the opening ceremony of the  „Library Café”  was held.
