On October 3, video art show “Art for Freedom” (Ukraine and Georgia) was held at the Saakashvili Presidential Library. There were presented works of 11 artists: Arno Brahai, Villiam Esdeili, Irina Gabiani, Alberto Guereiro, Michael Douglas Houck, Maria Korporali, Ulph Kristiansen, Masha Kulikovskaia, Luka lazari, Adamo Makri, Iuval Airis and Zohar Kavaharadas.
In response to situation in Ukraine and Georgia, group of artists all over the world decided to carry out project called “Art for Freedom”.
As known, there is a war between free world and a totalitarian Kremlin regime. We cannot participate in this war with weapons. Instead, what we can do is to show our support through our art to those people who struggles for freedom.
Art is our weapon against people, stronger than anything else created before. Art shapes personal inner world, which is reflected in our masterpieces.
